"Barnyard" April 28th Beginner's Watercolor Workshop, Sunday 1-3pm

This workshop will focus on washes and layering with farm animals (baby goat or piglet) as subject.

Weekly watercolor workshops that will introduce students to a variety of important watercolor techniques: wet on wet, dry brushing, washes, blotting and general color mixing. For the month of April, each workshop will focus on different spring related subjects such as: florals, seascapes, landscapes and  farm animals.  Taking all four workshops is not a requirement, though each workshop will focus on a different technique, but is highly encouraged for anyone who is looking to jump start their watercolor painting.  

No experience is necessary!

These workshops are limited to 10 students per day to allow plenty of 1:1 assistance


materials required if you have decided to bring your own:

student grade and higher watercolor paints (we will be using winsor&newton cotman set) 2 round brushes size 8 and 4 or similar, 140lb watercolor paper student grade or higher, board for paper support, tape, pencil and kneeding eraser, water container.
